Gas metal arc welder wanted in Howard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Howard County, Texas. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
