Fire and safety officer wanted in Charlton County

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Charlton County, Georgia. The job is at a manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site You should have: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
