Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar foreman in McDuffie County, Georgia. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Rotating shifts.
