Lathe programmer-operator • Kershaw County, South Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Kershaw County, South Carolina. You will be based in a tool room. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
