We are recruiting: gang bricklayer (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Columbus County, North Carolina. The job is at a renovation and extension job. You will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
