Vacancy available: we are hiring a window glazier in Sierra County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Day to day you will fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
