Vertical transportation technician • Evangeline Parish, Louisiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Full-time, day shift.
