Gantry crane operator • Chouteau County, Montana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Chouteau County, Montana. You will be based on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
