Slinger signaller wanted in Cecil County

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Cecil County, Maryland. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Day to day you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
