Urgent requirement: refrigeration service engineer (Alaska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Aleutians East Borough, Alaska. The job is at a supermarket cold-chain site. Requirements: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Valid driving licence for field call-outs The role involves: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
