Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Anderson County, Texas. Day to day you will inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. Requirements: • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
