Tig welder — Logan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Logan County, Ohio. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Full-time with occasional weekends.
