Civil works labourer • Rains County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Rains County, Texas. You will be based with a civil contractor. Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day On the job you will handle: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
