Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Chariton County, Missouri. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
