Single needle operator — City of Falls Church

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in City of Falls Church, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Rotating shifts.
