Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Garrard County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
