Great opportunity: we are hiring a flat roof installer in Kearny County, Kansas. The job is at a busy roofing firm. Your main tasks: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Bed and point ridge tiles with mortar • Insulate and ventilate the roof void • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates You should have: • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day Six days a week, one day off.
