Now hiring: we are hiring a gatehouse guard in Hartlepool, England. You will be based at a factory gate. On a typical shift you will operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block.
