Gas commissioning technician • Saline County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Saline County, Nebraska. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. The role involves lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Part-time with flexible hours. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
