Immediate opening: bar bender and fixer (Arkansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Scott County, Arkansas. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Day to day you will assemble column and beam cages on the bench; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
