Reinforcement fitter • Franklin County, Kansas

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Franklin County, Kansas. You will work at a high-rise construction project. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Full-time with occasional weekends.
