Industrial sewing operator • Sefton, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Sefton, England. On a typical shift you will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £1,850 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
