Machinist wanted in Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Jackson County, Minnesota. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
