We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Putnam County, New York. The job is on an industrial construction site. The role involves: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Meals and transport allowance provided.
