GTAW welder — Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Greene County, Virginia. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
