Articulated lorry driver — Ovia North-East

Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Ovia North-East, Edo. You will be based at a haulage company. What we are looking for: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Day to day you will check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
