HSE officer — Tucker County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Tucker County, West Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task.
