Vertical transportation technician wanted in Pecos County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Pecos County, Texas. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Rotating shifts.
