Urgent requirement: vehicle spray painter (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Clark County, Illinois. You will be based in a car refinishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE On a typical shift you will apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour.
