Urgent requirement: halal butcher (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a halal butcher in Humboldt County, Iowa. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
