Immediate opening: pipe tig welder (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Lake County, Tennessee. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Full-time, day shift.
