Sample machinist wanted in Tensas Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy garment factory. You should have: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines You will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
