Safety inspector wanted in Isle of Wight County

Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Isle of Wight County, Virginia. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. You will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
