Elevator service technician • East Lothian, Scotland

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in East Lothian, Scotland. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota The role involves fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
