CNC mill setter-operator wanted in Mahaska County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Your main tasks: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
