Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Derby, England. The role involves tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
