TIG welder — Fluvanna County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a TIG welder in Fluvanna County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Six days a week, one day off. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
