The role involves straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection. Ideal candidate: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Part-time with flexible hours.
