Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turner in Northumberland County, Virginia. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
