Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Silver Bow County, Montana. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
