Concrete shuttering carpenter — Bedford

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Bedford, England. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. The role involves: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) You should have: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork 2+ years on the tools preferred.
