Refrigeration field service technician • Cumberland County, New Jersey

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Cumberland County, New Jersey. You will work in an HVAC service company. Day-to-day duties: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets Ideal candidate: • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
