Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. On a typical shift you will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
