Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Bedford County, Tennessee. The job is at a road and highway construction project. The role involves: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
