Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Dallas County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
