Elevator repair technician wanted in Webster Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Webster Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 6+ years on the tools preferred.
