Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Haines Borough, Alaska. The job is in a warehouse and logistics yard. You will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
