We are recruiting: we are hiring a marble polisher in Jasper County, Illinois. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Own hand tools an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Your main tasks: • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
