Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Wokingham, England. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
