Vacancy available: restoration bricklayer (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Sandusky County, Ohio. You will work on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
